"A Hummer from Henry". It sounds very woke and probably compulsory reading in certain NYC schools! Thank you for all the PM's but I did not write that letter to The Sun newspapers agony aunt for my own amusement. I admit it is the sort of thing I would do but in this instance I am blameless and not the author. Although many years ago I did concoct a letter from the fictional Dagenham Fancy Sheep Breeders Society addressed to a friend thanking him for his interest but pointing out that we could not sell him a 'Submissive sheep that was quieter than average that would fit into a size 8 dress and respond to the name Susan!".

See that's what separates the masters from the gifted amateurs. You know you could have told him he couldn't afford it.

One of my cats eats cobwebs. He does this enthusiastically, even though he is more than well-fed. However, if you try to harvest cobwebs for him, they become waded up, and he has no interest in them. They must be gossamer thin and untouched. Somewhere online, someone said they have some nutrient cats need, but I am not recommending them. They might make another cat sick. But mostly cats know what they like and will shun everything else, as we know.

I have a terrible time with touch screens. I thought maybe I was an unknowing vampire or something, so I'm glad to hear that others have this problem. The technology just isn't very good, although we're not supposed to ever say that. We're not supposed to use Technology's name in vain.

Apparently, wetting your fingers and rubbing them on the spigot of your sink faucet (as unsuggestively as possible, of course) will completely remove the odor of garlic from them after mincing. This is useful, as sometimes the smell lingers after washing with soap and hot water.
You know, that's information those of us who bought the stainless steel puck should have thought of before buying.

Today, I discovered further evidence that I am an idiot.
