Birth Year Dunhill

It seems that many of us chase after our birth year Dunhill. Remarkably, PM member rsunuv remembered that I was born in 1952. He sent me a note that he had a Dunhill that he thought may be a 1952 and he wanted me to have it. Obviously, I was stunned and more than overwhelmed by this act of random kindness.

The pipe showed up today and it is a beauty. Dunhill Shell shape #36, group 4.

HOWEVER, after doing a bit of homework it appears to be a 1962.

It doesn't really matter as it's such an awesome gift.

So, as of today I am 52 instead on 62. What's 10 years among friends? I'm willing to forego my codger status to fit the pipe.

Thank you, Tim for gifting me this Fountain Of Youth pipe. I will treasure it always and think of you whenever I smoke it.
