Birinci Meerschaum Pipe

I was gifted this pipe by a fellow piper and in performing a search on the internet about said pipe I stumbled upon a thread here from 2019 (no further comments on the thread permissible).

I thought someone might want to see photos of one of his pipes? I’ve smoked it a number of times with great satisfaction. It is a simple pipe of good construction. I do appreciate the simple and clean ‘push bit’ type of set up as opposed to a ’screw in’ with meerschaum for a variety of reasons.

I will be smoking this pipe at today’s club meeting complete with a fresh 9mm filter.

I have been trying to contact Birinci for about a year now to see how much he charges yet I cannot get a hold of him no matter how hard I try. Even reached out to Mark "BremenPipeSmoker" to see if he could get a hold of him for me but even Mark said he's not responding. Hope he's alright.

I have 2 of his pipes that I love. Unfortunately, I placed an order at the beginning of September for a third.
He responded and sent me a confirmation that he sent the pipe.

To date, I still have not received the pipe. I started sending inquiries to him at the end of October. No response. I tried all through November and into December. No response.

EBay wouldn’t do anything because it exceeded their return window. I’ve had to go to my credit card to dispute the charge.

It’s a shame. Until now, I would have give. Him a glowing endorsement.

Sad when I hope something bad is happening to someone, because it's the only way they can come off as a decent person. Like maybe he stepped in a bear trap and hasn't been able to get out, but the whole time he's been thinking of how badly he needs to get that pipe to you.
