Too bad a tin of tobak doesn’t meet the price ceiling for y'all down there…
The sad reality is that the price of (some) pipes are cheaper than a 2oz tin of tobacco (now @AUD$175)
This would be my answer as well. There's a lot of options for under $100. I've gotten Castellos and Dunhills under that price as estates and the vast majority of my Petes and Savs have come in well under $100. All of the GBD, BBB, Comoy's, Chacom, and then even cheaper Kaywoodies and Dr Grabows have treated me well. All it takes is a little patience and some research.
This Strambach was an ebay find under $100. I had to do some work to bring it back to life but it was worth it.
