Occasionally you will find one on ebay but many times the asking price is more than their worth. As you mentioned, Smoking Pipes will list one occasionally. Another option, if you don't mind a new one, is to be on their website with CC in hand on Monday evenings. You have to be quick because they go fast. For what it's worth, it took me two years to find a Boswell shotshell, bent rusticated poker that was exactly what I wanted. I paid a handsome price for it. Good luck in your search.

I completely understand that. Their not giving them away. They've become quite expensive, at least to me. I will say that all of my Boswell pipes (4) are excellent smokers with perfect drilling. Some love them, others do not appreciate their aesthetic, but count me in the first group. For me they always deliver a great smoke.
If you are looking for something specific have you tried calling them? They have a lot more in the store compared to what goes online, at least last time I was there.

My wife and I just took a 3-day trip the first week of August from Ohio through PA with a specific purpose of a Boswell stop in Chambersburg. Worth the trip; not just for the pipe shopping, but the upstairs lounge is more like a museum where you can smoke.
Wow, talk about timing, I just purchased a Boswell estate pipe from Blue Room Briars.

Usually eBay is the place to find estate pipes but you have to steer clear of the bad sellers. You can't beat Blue Room Briars to deal with.
The better questions is, Why NOT?
Honestly, its like any other pipe. If you see something you like, you probably want to buy it. They are well made, usually bigger and thicker walled than other pipes, and they hold tobacco. Nothing more special than many others.
