Received a pound of this from P&C. Don't know what all is in it, but it is good! No bite, cool, slow burn, nice very light aroma and many difference taste. Going to Boswell's this Thursday for a couple tins and their North Woods.

Grand croupier is good too, they put a bit more thought into it, like you can get double down which is just burley's and Virginia's, or an english mixture, or an aromatic mixture. And it's about 10$ a pound.

Another time it would be another "blend," but you are lucky that you got a version you like! Congrats! It's a ten dollar bet that paid off.

I've bought a few BotR's and all are OK, my first one is really good! In fact I'm about to smoke some right now. Wish I knew what it was. I originally thought it would be a bit more of a hackneyed mixture with more variety in it but I cannot complain.

Today I did a day trip to Boswell's. My second time there, what a great shop! Smoked a fat short cigar, sat in the comfortable over stuffed leather seat, pure relaxing with good company. Picked up some North Woods, AAA Latakia for mixing with some very mild tobacco and a tin of Mac Baren Dark Twist. Just finished a bowl of the Twist, very good smoke! With what I have hoarded up, I'm set for a good while. (Maybe a couple weeks, until the next order is placed.)

About the Best Of The Rest, as I said before it is a good smoke. Now I just tried a pinch of Latakia mixed in for a couple pipe fulls. I think I hit on the perfect taste! Not over powering but noticeable.

I am planning on buying this and adjusting as necessary. You can't beat the price and a pound will last me a long time so even though I'll never be able to "repeat" it so what. What I am most excited about though is the thought of PRESSING THIS. I see on videos people pressing their favorite blends into new concoctions. Well this one is already blended it just needs the added experience of "pressing" into a flake to meld the already present variety.

I do "the best of the rest" at home, not from spilling tobacco but from finishing up odds and ends where there isn't enough for a bowl, or when the Lat or aro has gone a little flat and I pep it up with a blending tobacco or another blend. Usually it's good.

I think BotR is now gone up to $16.99 a pound. Still cheap though.

I had always wanted to try it, but I never g9tbaround to buying some. I was always afraid I'd end up with a pound of something I hated.
