Best Non-Aromatic Room Note Blend? Recommendations?

With the outdoor flea market and family picnic season upon us, what do you all recommend as a pleasant outdoor “room note” blend that won’t offend those non-pipers among us, excluding aromatics? Thanks.

I find all tobacco pleasant to smell. Virginias, latakias, whatever I smoke gets compliments... or it may just be an excuse for all of the pretty women to give me a compliment. YMMV
But, I would just smoke whatever I liked. Pipe tobacco smells 100xs better than cigarettes, no matter what blend it is.

I love Milan blends, so I recommend Milan's "our" Prince Albert and their Sunset Rum. Both have a pleasant "old Timey" smell and taste wonderful. Colonial Pastime is also great.

Cosmic you have to stop teasing all those women. Before you know it they will want to get familiar with your other pipe.

Pure Virginias that are more towards the bright Virginia end of the spectrum and stoved Virginias both have a very pleasing, "bread baking in the oven" sort of room note. Red Virginias can get a bit cigarette'y, but the bright and stoved ones generally get a positive reaction from the other members of my household.

Velvet is supposed to smell like "baking bread", but I understand that Velvet isn't what it use to be. Another victim of STG.

Some of my favorites I smoke and have had alot of compliments over are, edgeworth ready rub, Prince Albert (my go to on when fishing on my boat), Troost if you can find any, and some really like My Mixture 965...all of these have very pleasant room notes at least according to people that are around me alot and I have smoked all of these in very confined spaces on the boat with no complaints and alot of compliments.

None of my friends smoke, and my children are very vocal about the smells they don’t like from my pipe. Latakia blend seem universally disliked. I’ve had positive comments about my straight Solani Burley Flake and my VaPers don’t cause collective nausea.

I've gotten positive comets from several ladies while smoking Casey Jones Last Ride. It's a mixture of Black Cavendish, Burley, Virginia. A little sweet but not bad.

How about something like Revelation match (Epiphany) or Walnut (Chestnut)? Those are kitchen sink blends and you'll likely get universal praise and shade in one fell swoop

I'm not sure which is the best part. I personally like the blend and you can name drop if someone doesn't like it and suggest they just can't get it

I used to love Troost Special Cavendish. I bought a pound of the Sutliff Match last Fall......it does NOT taste anything like Troost.
It's not bad, but not close to the original.

I smoked several bowls of "Detective's Blend" from Winston Cigar Lounge in Houston (formerly The Briar Shoppe) over the past week, and I think it's the most classic pipe smoke aroma I've had in years, exactly like what I remember smelling when walking past the pipe shop in the mall as a kid. It's delicious and old school. Plus, Winston's can ship if you call them.

I’ve found that Captain Black white will generally get compliments when I smoke it in mixed company, this is what most non smokers think pipe tobacco should smell like.

May I suggest st bruno. Some may argue that it is an aromatic but it's unique and very tobacco forward in taste

I’m not sure why, as it seems like a pretty standard tobacco scent to me, but I seem to get the most odor-related compliments from non-smokers when I smoke OJK Blue.
