I see it's already mentioned, quite near the beginning; but the absolute best tin I've had this year was Steamworks.
I could name something else just for the game, but for the pleasure I had from that tin - WOW!
And I popped 16 more in the cellar.

Looks like JB wasn't happy about a repeat, and admittedly, it did nothing to broaden the game. So I perused through some of my empty tins from the last few months that I haven't gotten to throwing out yet (I always think I'll re-purpose them in some way), and came up with another that really did it for me that I had forgotten for the moment:

Phantom Privateer (Crumble Kake #6). So add that to the list for the game.

I was impressed with that one and have more in the cellar too, thank goodness.

Next up for business:
@Val and @Grangerous and @kanaia can each nominate another blend, as each nom was a duplicate. It can be anything and it doesn't have to have been released in 2024. This game is all about the drama and the turmoil, so the more blends the better.

As far as the game goes...
We're already up to 40 blends nominated, so this is going to be one hell of a game. Last year, the nominations ended on 12/31 and the game began on 1/1. Because I posted the game sooner this time around, more people have seen it and nominated blends. As a heads up, due to this fact, we'll probably lock nominations on the 23rd and begin the game on the 26th. (I like to think that I have a life, so there's no way in hell that I'll be logging noms on Christmas, but it would neat to begin voting immediately thereafter.)

As the game gets closer, I'll post the rules again, but most commenters here played last year and so I'm assuming it won't take much clarification. This is a free for all game in which each blend begins with 10 hit points. Each vote deducts from one blend and gives to another. Once a blend reaches zero hit points, it is permanently eliminated.

Eventually, all blends except for one will be rendered to the past tense and when that happens, we'll have our best blend of 2024. Last year's winner was Rich Dark Honeydew by @gawithhoggarth but it hasn't been nominated this year, so at this current moment, there's no chance of the winner being a duplicate.
