Last year I ran the elimination game thread and it was pretty fucking cool. Naturally, I figured I'd return with a reprise of the first. Because several folks didn't see the thread until the game was afoot, I figured I'd start it earlier this year and have two separate threads. This one is dedicated entirely to the nomination phase.

In short, it's a free-for-all in which users get to subtract hit points from a blend they intend to kill, while giving the hit point to a blend they intend to keep. Once all the votes are tallied, the only blend left standing enjoys the very-unofficial title of Best Blend of 2024. Nobody gives a shit, and yet it gives us all something to do. Isn't it great?

Anyhow, if we're to have a formidable game going into year 2025, we're going to need a fair slate of blends entered into mix. My rules here are scarce, but the only one is simple: It must be a blend that others can look up. That means, typically, that the blend is tinned and branded. That way, even if it isn't what folks are voting for, they know what they're voting against.

From not until the end of December, we're looking at a nominations-phase only. Each user on this forum can submit one and only one blend to be entered into the coming game. Once January 1 hits, we'll begin boosting and (hopefully) eliminating blends and before long, we'll find a winner. In the meantime, all you need to do is comment with your favorite (or chosen) blend. Note the title, as well as who made it. If you feel like it, update the list. If you don't, somebody'll get around to it.

I'll begin:

This year... standout HU Director's Cut already on the list (yay!). The tins I went through the fastest this year were OGS and 1931 Flake.. after trying i stocked more 1931 than OGS, so:

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1931 Flake

damn good sleeper blend... y'all get some and try it so you can make an informed and correct decision this time around!
