It has been brought to my attention that this game has become a tiddly bit repetitive. Folks tend to like the same blends today that they liked yesterday, and to abhor the same in-turn. And as
@sablebrush52 noted, I have the power to sway - if not the outcome - then public response. In that way, as said this year, I don't represent the powers that be, but the media.
Like the media, b'iness ain't good if there ain't shit a'brewing. So let's present a change of pace. I did something similar last year, but this time I'll put a couple more twists on the rules. From this point onward, unless otherwise specified, these introductions are
permanent rule changes, effective immediately.
Rule 1. Each vote now consists of 3 points rather than 2. You must include one up-vote and one down-vote, but you get an extra to use as you see fit. This vote can be spread or it can be added. In other words, if you want to boost or diminish a single blend by 2 points, you can do that. Also, if you want to boost or detract from two separate blends, you can do that too. The third vote is yours to command.
But I warn you, add too many points to this game and I'll start sad-face emojiing the shit out of you...
Rule 2. The person who deals a dying blow to a blend gets a one-time bonus super vote, consisting of a +3
and -3. Because it's effective immediately and because
@brooklynpiper killed Dark Flake Aromatic, this will mark the first such vote. And because I'm not a total dick, I'm going to cast a vote that doesn't kill anything to benefit myself.

P.S. We lost Dark Flake Aromatic today. I like to think that its death was much the same as
@JimInks said of its burning consistency: "clean and slow." It will be missed. Or it won't. That's your call, I suppose.
