Speaking of dead horses, yesterday I smoked this combo of Cornell & Diehl Pegasus in a Longchamp Leather Wrapped Pony Hair Bulldog.

It’s not my favourite blend, but how can you not smoke it in a Pony Hair pipe?*

Pegasus -1
Pembroke +1

*Apologies to Sawyer, the mustang.
Is it true that Longchamps are made from balsa wood under the leather?

me when the best tobacco, 1792 gets the axe

If 1792 gets knocked out there will no longer be a blend I care about in the running, so I'll just use every vote from there on out to vehemently spite all the G.L. Pease and C&D fans who downvoted 1792. Mess with the bull and ya get the horns. 🐂

The temp rules have ended and the results have been tallied. On the up vote side, it wasn't even close. 1792 flake cleaned up, bringing in 6 pluses where the next closest competitor landed at 3. For the most part, the fellas on this forum weren't focused on group think on that front... that or they didn't read my post. Tisk, tisk.

But on the negative side, we rode into the finals with a three way tie: Pegasus, 1792, and Horizons all had 6 down votes. But then... along came a @VDL_Piper. His vote carried 1792 to a total of 7 down votes, which makes it the biggest loser. Therefore, 1792 is granted +3 hit points... right before it loses 4. Net -1.

With only 2 hit points remaining, Pegasus would've perished if that final vote had gone a little differently. I've gotta say, this makes two years in a row that the controversy of this blend has breathed life into this game. I haven't seen a horse endure such punishment since Major, in Orwell's Animal Farm.

(You may not get that joke, but I can assure you, your high school English teachers would've loved it.)
