Hi guys, I am a new member here. I want to share a discovery I have made that has radically transformed my pipe smoking experience for the better.

My wife who shops at Aldi here in Spain picked up some sage tea. The first time I tried it with a pipe I was blown away. Every tobacco opened up for me. I started validating Jinlinks reviews with my own experience! Each tobacco jumped up 4 stars in my own personal rating system and I have been getting the blissful experiences and special moments that we all smoke a pipe for.
I only drink it for a couple of days and then I lay off of it for a couple of days before going back to it. Apparently it contains a molecule called thujone which is not good to consume a lot of, and also I get tired of it and the break keeps it fresh for me.
Since I don’t know any pipe smokers in my personal life, I am curious if others will have a similar experience, or if my tongue has a unique reaction to this amazing tea. No other beverage has come close, and I think I have tried them all. So I hope it works similarly for some of you out there! Looking forward to hearing from anyone who tries it.
I wouldn't worry about thujone. The quantities needed to be bad for you don't exist in that tea. I mean you'd have to have so much of it.

I drink Cafe Dumonde coffee with some half and half and a good amount of Stevia. I have never seen anyone like this coffee black. It has chicory in it which adds some serious depth. It has been the same since the 1860's. It is served at their store in New Orleans half cream and half coffee. I prefer it with a lot less cream and my Stevia.

I drink that till around 5-6 then I usually drink Luzziane de cafe Iced tea with lots of Stevia. I like my drinks on the sweet side. Hell if it wasn't for the sugar I would still be drinking Fanta Grape and Fanta Orange I love those two.

I also noticed that it helps reset your palette. If you eat something strong or spicy and you know that if you smoked a bowl, you wouldn’t be able to taste it too well unless you waited a couple of hours, if you rinse your mouth out a couple of times with the sage tea, you can taste the subtle flavors of the smoke again.

Thus far my favorite pairing is Rye, Bourbon or Irish - neat or in a manhattan/brooklyn/old fashioned. I need to be careful tho as I have gotten bitten hard - the more I drink the more I tend to puff puff puff. After dinner once I had a snifter of BnB with my pipe and it was freaking amazing. For non-alcholic water, coffee and iced tea are my go to now.
Almost totally agree, but my order is Rye, Irish, Bourbon lol

Thujone, is also found in Absinthe.
and not classically in the quantities people thought. The numbers we got for the bottles back in the day assumed that the alcohol didn't preserve the compound. Which now they know it does.
Sage tea? Sage belongs in the carcass of a turkey only. Well, maybe on a couple of other entrees but, tea? Nah!
Yes it's great especially when you consider all the different types of sage. And the kind that's used in tea is not too bad tasting and I think would really be very palate cleansing. Probably tulsi sage.
