At last count I believe I have 12 Molinas. I like every one of them and they all get smoked eventually. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Half the charm of a grabow comes from not caring what happens to it. Its hard to go about the yard while smoking a good pipe like a peterson spigot or even an irish army and not help but cry at the mere thought of dropping it.I’m just here to say GRABOW.
They are the dependable bic pens of pipes and your grandfather probably enjoyed smoking his Grabow made pipe from the mountains of NC.
No matter how I want it to do something different, my Grabow ( one in particular) is a better smoker than the Peterson 317 I want to love the most!
Good luck in your hunt sir- and GO GRABOW!![]()
An update on my Molina. I struggled with it for the first 1-2 months. Found it was collecting debris from my pipe cleaners in the stem. The fine folks on the maintenance forum helped me identify the problem and gave me some ideas for getting it clear and fixing it. The Molina Bent Apple is now one of my better smoking pipes, so I'd recommend it.My Morgan Bones was 50 and it has been great. I bought a Molina for 55 it’s been just ok.
Chris needs to make some with vulcanite like they used to and I’d be in.Bones
one or two id be willing to get if i wasnt apprehensive about how some items are marked as "1 left, currently in 2 shopping carts"..i am a fan of the used market, I look out for older Stanwells. Have owned many and they all punch WAY above their weight class. Check Out Mr. Stanwell's Pipes Etsy shop, lots of good options there for quality stuff.
Nothing odd about that at all. Some people put the item in their cart and ponder it a while.one or two id be willing to get if i wasnt apprehensive about how some items are marked as "1 left, currently in 2 shopping carts"..
I figure people put items in their carts, hoping that the seller will offer them a lower price. I don’t know whether it actually works that way on Etsy, but my wife says that other shopping sites work that way.Nothing odd about that at all. Maybe they contemplate it. Maybe they look at the competition before choosing. Etc.
It gets sold to the first person who actually pulls the trigger.
I see this site mentioned here from time to time and I try to look for it. But I never find a websiteShikano53 - Chris
christopherpipes.com
you might find something there. He makes great pipes and they are affordable.
good luck
I don't think it works that way, never did for me. I'm guilty of doing it for the other reasons though...I figure people put items in their carts, hoping that the seller will offer them a lower price.
