Just got this weirdo in a large lot of pipes I bought. Some Dunhills, Charatan's, Comoy's, etc.... and this? No stampings, replacement stem, retrofit shank to accommodate replacement stem. I am not even sure the brass fitting sitting on top of the bowl is original. After a clean up and restore, I smoked it. Smokes like a dream.

Absolutely love it and the fact someone cared enough to customize it and treasure it. It’s got a serious steampunk attitude to my eye. Get yourself a top hat with goggles attached and perhaps a tapestry waistcoat and smoke that pipe with purpose! Love it!

Totally agree, verporch. I dismissed out of hand initially. Glad I gave her a shot. I'll keep a look out for the right outfit to match... LOL.

If you scour eBay you could most likely find a cherry stem with cork fitting and horn mouthpiece. That would most likely have been the stem. Either that or a semi flexible tube sort of like a hookah.
