I am just starting this hobby! I am 18 and just ordered my first pipes and tobacco selections. Since I have a low budget for pipe smoking I purchased a Rossi vittoria, a Missouri meerschaum, and my tobaccos are Hearth & Home "Frenchy's sunza bitches", Hearth & Home "Daybreak", and finally Missouri Meerschaum "Missouri Pride"! I'm excited and i've done a lot of research and decided to start with an English blend, a Va/bur, and a va/per. Did I choose okay, and does anyone have suggestions for blends to try in the future??? Thank you for any input all is appreciated.

Let's get you succeeding with these first.

I haven't smoked any of these blends, but I read the reviews and you've got excellent choices, I think.

Russ Oulette is one of a handful of blenders with instant recognition within our small world.

It takes awhile to be able to enjoy the tastes of any blend, especially in the beginning.

Take is slow and easy, and keep us up to date on your progress.

(I wish I'd had the opportunity to learn from this forum when I was 18 ! )
