Bees and Honey

A certain well-respected memeber on this forum is currently designing a pipe for me. He dubbed it the meadwarden and I have humbly asked him to work the aspects of bees and honey into the design as I a am a long-time maker and lover of mead (wine made with honey rather than grapes) and friend to apiarists near and far.
I for sure want to dedicate a blend to this incredible piece of art (no pun intended) and was originally going to go with Black House, my favorite English.
It is not a bad choice but is there a blend any of you would reccommend that has a strong taste or room note of honey? Id surely give it a shot as this pipe is going to be very special to me and I fully intend to contemplate the glowing ember as I sip my home made mead.

I love mead, and have made some myself.. have you ever made any with Galberry honey? Sorry I don't have a blend to recommend though.

No. I've used Orange Blossom, Clover and mesquite though. My specialty these days os cysers and melomels

I made mine with clover, which is the most common honey around these parts, but the best mead I ever had was made by a friend using Galberry honey she ordered from somewhere out West, it was to die for!

Manhattan Afternoon by C&D is a Virginia that has a honey casing. Might want to look into that.

Manhattan Afternoon is one of my top ten smokes--brilliant stuff, very subtle but with a taste and room note that will have you reaching for it again and again and again.

MacB Honey & Chocolate would be a wee bit on the heavy side for a fully-dedicated pipe I think--that stuff is strooooong with the choco.
