Discussions within a limited political range are so overheated these days, I think people who are honest with themselves are even weary of their own ardent opinions, so it's good to have places, like Forums, where we can talk about a whole universe of topics, based around tobacco pipes in this case. Welcome back, and welcome to the vast world and universe of nature, life and times that doesn't relate to human political thought, mostly. (Oh yes, everything relates to political thought, oh never mind.) Political agnosticism can be a good thing. Meanwhile, we can disagree fiercely about blends, pipe shapes, stem materials, and pipe tools, for examples.

Welcome back, We all have our views and opinions. The best advice I can give is stay away from topics where your views stray into the political. For instance, I no longer participate in FDA discussions because I know that my views will surface and regardless of who agrees or disagrees with me, the discussion will not end on a a positive note. We all have something in common, Pipes and Tobaccos. I now try to stay on the common interest of the spectrum.
