You have a fine gardener's hand. It's a gift. My wife, her family, and my dad were/are real gardeners. I try to pitch in, but don't have the golden touch. Those are some lavish day lilies.
flowers are one of those things I don't know how you can't find them beautiful. Except those purple ones that make my eyes all itchy and red and feel like I got sand glued to my eyelids, actually they're pretty too. Thanks that's awesome.
brad, do you break up the tubers in the fall or just let them come up as perennials where they are? Do you have to refrigerate them, or do they prefer the relatively warmer Louisiana winters? They obviously love whatever you do, or don't do.
Here in Maryland, we went from late winter weather in early May to straight up summer (94 deg today). Our clematis at the front walk is just starting to bloom (although I call it by another more gynecological sounding name).
