As a cigar smoker as well as pipes I was wondering, can pipe tobacco hatch beatles? I keep all my tobacco in sealed jars, but I've not bothered with Boveda packs and hygrometers like I do with my cigars. Should I? Thanks.

Never had a problem with a sealed tin or bag of tobacco I purchased from a tobacco shop having beetles but I had a monster problem with whole leaf tobacco I purchased from Whole Leaf to make my own blends. I wasn’t able to get to chopping and blended right away so I didn’t realize one of my orders had them until they were all over the place. I had purchased five pounds each of Bright Canadian, Bright Virginia and Kentucky Burley. Not sure which one had the beetles but by the time I saw them they were in all the bags. They had eaten through all the plastic bags. They were even flying around in my house. I froze the tobacco I could salvage for five days but I guess I missed some because after a while they reappeared so I threw it all in the trash. I haven’t bought any whole leaf tobacco since. So tobacco beetles can get into pipe tobacco even if sealed in plastic. Tins should be ok.

I've only seen it in half-assed, dying B&Ms over the years, all long gone. Sometimes their bulk jars would contain weirdo blends that no one other than myself apparently ever showed interest in. Close examination would reveal tiny maggots, spider webbing or something, empty egg sacs, tiny cocoons, etc. Think it's much more common with cigars, from the same source, in my experience. I've been in some B&Ms that were real friggin' losers.

Nothing has ever walked out of my pipe tobacco. Now as for insect parts, that is a second question. We probably all smoke a few of those from week to week. Between the oven-ing, the pressing, and the casing. Smart bugs stay home. A blend could be called Cricket Legs or Tumble Bugs.

My late wife brought home shells from the beach, and as I was unpacking and admiring them, one of them walked away, inhabited by a hermit crab. I put it in the garden and it disappeared.

1. Did the Beatles drive beetles?
2. Did The Beatles had a battle of beats? With whom?
3. After smoking tobacco infested with beetles and hitting the bottle did you go watch The Beatles having the battle with beats?
4. Do not drive a beetle after hitting the bottle, but you can after smoking tobacco beetle 🪲
5. You can also chew tobacco with beetle nuts while driving the beetle and listening to the battle of beats performed by The Beatles
6. The Beatles were never beat less, but you may think so after the bottle
