In full disclosure, not me. My beard stays trimmed between 14" & 18", about twice a yr.
Josh curious, how many years did your beard take? I've been working on mine for about 2 1/4 years, and it just quit growing :(

I've worn my beard at various lengths & various styles continuously for 40 yrs. What I can tell you is that mine grows on average 3/4" per month; a bit more in the humid summer, a bit less in the dry air of winter. When mine gets to 18" it starts to look a little thin & wispy at the bottom, so that may be close to my terminal length. You may have reached your terminal length as well.

I've always worn my beard trimmed to about 1 inch until 2012. Took a job that required a clean shave, so that was that. I retired in 2018 and grew it out again, but trimmed it in april of 2020. Since then, I've just let it go, and it seems to have maxed out at about 7 or 8 inches. I still get the "you should be Santa", but I can't stand kids not of my own lineage, lol. I love watching them playing, and have no problems on a one on one, but I don't think I could stomach a horde of snot nosed wee tykes begging for toys.

Long beards are often a lightening rod. People often ask about it. Women will often ask to touch it & cant believe it's soft & shiny. Ask to take a pic with you. It's always a man who couldn't grow one or his wife won't let him that gives you the dirty look.
