Almost none. When it cools a bit, unscrew the bowl, swab out the humidome and you are good to go. You rarely need a pipe cleaner cause the juice collects in the bottom of the aluminum stem(the humidome). They are GREAT pipes!

Hoosier, you’re making regret my “generosity” in gifting my one and only Falcon to a buddy. He was having problems sourcing one locally and in an impulsive moment I said he could have mine. He loves it.

The Parker and Dunhill cleaners are a quality product but too expensive for me. I've been using the White Elephants recently and have found them to be top notch.
