Hi all -

I've been lurking for a few YEARS here, and finally signed up...
...Then I replied to a few posts...
...now I'm introducing myself to the collective...

Yes, backwards. But happy to be here, and I've certainly enjoyed the content and lessons and suggestions along the way.

I've been on and off casually pipe smoking for about 20 years (a couple bowls a week to a few bowls a year). I've been closer to 3-4 bowls a week for the last couple years now, and have really taken the time to sample and sort out my tobacco likes and dislikes over this time, and have added a range of pipes for the sampling (cobs, basket briars, other hardwoods, Petersons, and Falcons!)

Hopefully I can contribute sometime, somewhere here with something useful. I enjoy visiting...

Welcome Connecticut, from central North Carolina. I think you'll find Forums more interesting as a participant and not just a reader. Good pipe historians, carvers, blenders, and other expertise here, as well as interesting people.

Welcome from Florida. Spent a lot of years skiing in Vermont, lots of great mountains. My favorite was Burke MT as it was never crowded. It was cold but we didn't care.

Thanks.
Burke is way up NE, and I hang around in the SW near Manchester... beautiful state in all (but April!) seasons...
