Is anyone familiar with this company? They happen to make short stemmed churchwardens I was looking for at Amazon but I am suspicious of their low prices ($30). Anyone heard of them? Even Pipepidia has no listing oof them.

I havent bought from them, but they do sell on ebay as well so maybe check the reviews there. What they sell looks pretty solid, not made of plastic type pipes.
On their website, Wholesale Briar Tobacco Pipes | Barlow & Dorr - https://www.barlowdorr.com/ a pipe bowl sells for $10 and stems are $12 a dozen. Cheaper than a basket pipe at your local B&M.
I have purchased stem blanks and bands from them. Got exactly what I ordered with no problem. Seemed friendly on the phone. ?
I bought a 2-pack of B&D unfinished pipes on Amazon for $34. I stained and rusticated them, and smoke them quite often.
They had a few fissures and defects in the grain, but that's what rustication is for.
They are decent pipes, I enjoyed learning how to finish them, they look good to me, they're good smokers and great for when I don't want to risk dropping a Savinelli in the lake.
