Thanks Sable! Top 3 on the right are all early L&Co Loewe Pipes (1920-1967?). Just under them is what I think is called Farmer's Joy made in France. Under that is another Loewe. Middle center is the All Wood Barling's Make and the only other one I can make out is the small bent top left... The silver band on the pipe has WHV which I Googled and found it to be the markings of William Henry Vince-Leeds as early as 1905. All the rest are too worn for me to make out myself.

It would be very interesting to see close up pictures of the straight grained pipes, 3 & 4 down on the left, and 6 down on the right, maybe we can help identify them. Loewe pipes are very highly regarded. Looks like a very nice group of pipes.

On of my Brit-pipe buddies on another forum is a big Loewe collector. He has some dating information at his website, if you are interested:

Dave, the ones you picked are great ones and some of my favorites too! The grain is great and even though they are small they have a great sturdy weight to them. I will post some close ups this evening and maybe you will be able to pinpoint what they are? Thanks!

Beautiful collection. Can't wait to see some close ups. Those Loewe pipes look particularly interesting. Is there a model name on the bottom of the shanks?

Dave, here are the close-ups. Let me know if you can make out any markings.

Hmmm, the first two pipes look like they both have a splice on the shank, notice the different grain and the way the wood took the stain. The third pipe looks like it has some markings on the top of the shank, need a better pioture. The Loewe pipes are what, all four The ROVER, or is the smaller pipe The MORLEY?

Dave, they all have a splice...including all four of the Loewe Pipes. I assumed it was normal for the time period because all of the stampings on all the Loewe pipes go across the splice perfectly. In the ROVER picture the splice is through the center of the last R. Can anyone speak to the splicing?
The smaller Loewe pipe marking is rubbed off and I can not see anything but possibly a faint "L"
The third pipe down appears to be marked "WOOD'S" but I can really only make out "OOD'S"
Thanks!
