The Orlik Dugout is still in the Orlik catalog No. 54. Series letter J. A fine quality sandblast briar,.....

available in twelve shapes: 24, 17, 82, 20, 23, 72, 89, 37,126, 123, 5, 55.

But it is not in the Orlik home trade price list from january 1956.
I see, that the Critic I recieved yesterday was 6/6. Nice to know - as far as I found out it is a 1928 pipe,

but I could be wrong.

Jensen,

many thanks for that info! I have a particular fondness for the Dugout.

I also think it's cool that a tobacco manufacturer from Assens took the name and logo and kept it alive all these years, otherwise I'm afraid that the name of Orlik would be just another obscure footnote in pipelore...
...Orlik always seemed to be an extremely popular make of pipe in Denmark, so it's only natural that's where the heritage now rests.
