Love the variety within the Rhodesian shape. It's almost like a family of shapes instead of just one. I have a Peterson
Killarney Rhodesian in a deep red brown with thin metal bands. The design is very different from this (beautiful) pipe,
with the bowl sitting low and the stem going into more of a curve. Joh is doing some interesting larger bowl
Rhodesians now, as seen on smokingpipes.com. It's a wonderful shape with a lot of latitude and variety. I like
some of the rustication/smooth combinations like yours. It's an elegant shape, under-appreciated it seems to me.
