Save some money and buy Balkan Supreme. I've still got about a dozen tins of this iteration of Balkan Sobranie and it's sad to not live up to the name.

At $26 a tin, I'll pass. I have a tin in reserve and it's okay - but not earth shattering.

It’s not Balkan Sobranie. It’s a tin of “Whatsis” with a fancy label on it that you overplay for. Want something closer to what actual Balkan Sobranie tasted like? Pick up a tin of White Knight.
Or, skip the nonsense and buy Balkan Supreme.

I am probably in the minority but, I loathe Balkan Supreme. There are many better Balkans on the market I would second the mention of White Knight. My true preference is Sutliff Balkan II.

BTW, I think Balkan Sobranie is more enjoyable than Balkan Supreme.

I agree on all points. Balkan Supreme bites me slightly. Sutliff CA-100 is also very good.

This is like Balkan Sobranie in the dreams maybe. I hate getting ripped off by some who is deliberately deceiving us.

It may not be the same Balkan. But the shag cut and actual blend is quite nice. If it had another name, I would still buy it.

It’s the same story—old named blends returning which never match up to the original. Three Nuns and Bengal Slices come to mind in addition to Balkan Sobranie
