I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did.
seriously. For one thing I kept trying to figure out how a twelve year old could have spent 20 years smoking a pipe. That said eight years in a Smokey womb would explain a lot in his case.
Not many guys have gotten the boot from two forums within 6 hours.

Echo chambers are about as bad.
I was on another large board that was very cliquish and I did a trade with someone and sent them some Cuban cigars, some tobacco, sent their daughter a little art set for Christmas along with a couple nice empty cigar boxes, whole bunch of stuff. Never got my end of the trade, but it’s OK because it was one of the “in“ crowd.
Live and learn, i was the better person and just let it drop.
Also had a guy on my home cigar board rip me off for $900 on a buy, he was around forever and untouchable, his rep wasn’t though people saw what a POS he was, thought he could burn the new guy and no one would care, 18 yrs later most of these guys are my best friends so in a way it was worth joining that board even with that, as a matter of fact in 2 weeks I’m off to SoCal to see 40 or so of them for our annual fall classic herf / get together always an amazing weekend!
