Hey ya'll, its been a minute. A long minute in fact!
I fell out of pipe smoking in my 20's cause I just never really got the hang of it, though I always remembered it fondly. Anyways I recently moved and i found a box full of all my old pipes and some real vintage tins (for me at least.) I didnt want to crack into something thats been sitting since 2006 I made an order at smokingpipes and I got a few different styles as well as a new Peterson, and boy am I glad I did.
Its wild what a few years off can do for the palate and the technique, turns out puffing like a freight train isnt how you enjoy a great tobacco. So I sat in my lawn chair and enjoyed a nice rubbed out Peter Stokebeye Luxury Navy Flake, what a blend! Can't wait to get back into it even more, though I'm sad to see a few blending houses no longer with us, I'm excited to learn more about whats good and exciting in the pipe world!
Its good to be back.
