I just returned from Gulf Shores Alabama with the family. We had some good times, great food, and I enjoyed a few bowls on the beach. It was nice smoking a pipe while relaxing under a shade, feeling the ocean breeze, sipping a few cold beers, and taking in the view(s) 8). The only time I got to have a bowl was on the beach (the room was non-smoking) and it was too hot on the balcony. I’m glad to be home again to enjoy my pipes in the comfort of my home.
A couple of interesting things about smoking on the beach was that I rarely had to re-light more than twice (due to the constant breeze) and my pipes never got more than a little warm.
