I was wondering if you guys have any pairings? I was on coffee and was eating some cinnamon Chex. Directly after I lit up a pipe of CH the cinnamon sugar Chex made that the best bowl of CH I ever had. What are some food and drinks you like and with what baccy?

I normally dont eat while I smoke, but I do enjoy some good fruit juice or a bottle of Gatorade while smoking, as a pallate cleanser and for hydration and mouth cooling purposes, of course.

I love to start my day with a bowl of Samuel Gawith's Best Brown flake and a cup of very strong Italian roast coffee

I havn't tried it with a pipe yet... but there was a point in my Cig smoking career where I would only ENJOY a nail while I was eating an apple. Usually a nice sour green apple.
It played really nicely with the menthol smokes. Marlboro Menthol 100's
I guess it's time to try it with a Pipe Tobacco.

Usually, when I want to really enjoy a blend of drink with a smoke, be it a cigar or a pipe, it's one of two things: Coffee, Strong with extra strong stirred in, or alcohol. For me, when it comes to alcohol being paired with smoke, it's either a cognac, a rum, or a scotch. I prefer Dewares Scotch.

I don't drink much these days but I'm planning to pair my favorite English blend with a good Scotch and Best Brown Flake with good Port, over the holiday season. I don't know from experience but I suspect best brown with a pinch of 1792 will pair well with Port.

I remember the first time I realized how well flavors go together with pipe smoking. We had steak with a basil-peppercorn glaze one evening and I went out to smoke shortly afterwards. After my smoke I was sitting in my recliner thinking about how flavorful it was and it was obviously the combination that did it.
Since then it's not too uncommon to pick my evening smoke based on what I think might go well with what we've had for dinner.
Otherwise it's coffee, water, or an occasional Sam's Seasonal.

Food with tobacco? No thanks. I am frequently smoking after a meal, however.

Beverages - water is always good - and a good single malt with an English blend is very fine indeed.
