my girlfriend is the plan ahead type of person and asked me what if i wanted any pipes for christmas, i said a pipe. so because shes so awesome shes getting me a savinelli churchwarden and some tobacco.i told her i wanted either cornell & diehl purple cow, cornell & diehl da vinci, or cornell & diehl black duck. i told her i wanted purple cow the most, so ill probaly get that but if she gets me more then one tobacco that would be cool.heres some pictures of the two pipes i want. i told her i wanted the pipe in the top picture more, but that if it was too much i would be happy with the bottom pipe

it does ruin the suprise a bit, but she doesnt know anything about pipes or pipe tobacco. so if i said i wanted a blend with latakia and perique, to her it would sound like im speaking anoother language. plus im picky about how my pipes look so id rather show her what i want then get something i dont like

I lived with my girlfriend, although I call her my wife because we've been living together for 2 years. So what I've done to make sure she gets me something awesome and pipe related; I've gone on her computer and made a new folder and called it "Gift ideas for Grant" under the bookmarks tool. And I've just linked to certain pages from our sponsors and various other pipe related stuffs. Pipe bags, stands, humidors, pipes, toby, etc.
She thumbed through it but I'm sure she will be checking it out a lot more as soon as Christmas comes around the corner and then my birthday shortly after that, Jan 12. And I will be sure to keep adding to it, deleting stuffs etc. so I can get her to only look at stuff I REALLY want. hehe
