Auto Designer/Pipe Smoker Passes

I was flipping thru the new issue of Automobile and noticed a column on the passing of European auto designer Uwe Bahnsen. He designed the European Capri, amount other cars. I wasn't familiar with Uwe but noticed he had a pipe in hand for most of his photographs.

Those sideburns! Almost Mutton Chops. Also I totally dig those bell-bottom suits haha.
People should wear more stuff like this.

Apparently those sideburns were his trademark, that and the pipe.
