I can see your point.My theory, half-baked or not, and not original with me, is that the broader chamber on the author, prince, and some other shapes gives wider play to four, six, or more constituent tobaccos in a blend, allowing more of all of them to be active in the ember at once, giving a better showing of the blend as a whole. I can't prove it, but it has occurred to me with more complex blends in broader chambers.
