Nice boat Philip - a real beauty. I grew up around boats and water and my dad was an avid fisherman and former merchant marine. We were out on the boat almost every weekend fishing.

Let me know if you guys would like to see any more boatyard pictures or if you've had enough.
Keep em coming Philip. At a certain point in my life, right after my divorce, I was ready to throw in the towel on the corporate game, get me a boat and live on it. But I decided to give it one more shot, then met my wife, etc... the rest is history. No regrets, but it's still always cool to see someone who did take that step. So keep the boats coming my friend, keep'em coming

I had a busy day on the boat today, although it feels more like a tree-house.

At least it is fiberglass. They work on a lot of wooden boats here, which are an immense amount of work to maintain, but they can be beautiful.

Nice boat Phillip! I don't know that I could live on one,but it would be nice to "escape" on one for a month or three now and then! The "Nevermore" is a nice looking boat also.

Hooray! Maintenance is finally done for this go around. I'm scheduled to be put back in the water tomorrow morning. The boatyard is a nice place, but I'm glad to say goodbye and be back in the water.

Being put back in the water is the easy part. Backing my boat up into that narrow slip was the tricky part.
The weather looks good for at least the next week, so I'll be having a slow and leisurely sail back home.

I'll be on the forum a little less often until I get there.

Wow this is awesome. I just learned how to sail this year, and bought myself a sailboat. Nothing like that, but I'm rebuilding it right now, so it should be ready by spring.

Thanks, guys.
@ Skysail - Good luck getting your boat fixed up. Sailing can be just a relaxing as smoking a pipe... and just as frustrating.

I've loved sailing ships since I was a kid, mainly the historical ships. I wish I got a chance to be around them more. We were in Boston and the coast of Maine last year; I had a great time seeing the ships.
