this is a gem of a site
and throwryuken, I saw that for the first time a couple of years ago. Fact is, even the mathematicians who can calculate the mass and volume of any of those stars, can't imagine the enormity. We just don't have a real world frame of reference that really makes any sense.

I had a telescope similar to that Meade when I was younger. Mom spend a fortune on it and I never set it up. Regret it still.

I no longer look through any sort of telescopes mainly due to not having one but I do enjoy sitting outside on the farm and looking up at all the stars covering the sky. Laying down in a field with a tent pitched and a smoke is my ideal star gazing night!
