Anybody here can tell me anything about astley's brand, perhaps recommend a blend?

No. 44 Dark Virginia is a good blend.

I have just started exploring these. I have liked the 4 that I tried (Nos. 1, 44, 99, and 109), and intend to try the rest.

Astley's 109 is terrific

I've only tried #2 (THANKS SECRET SANTA).. If you like Virginias with a light and sweet casing (think capstan or erinmore) it's worth a shot.
