I really timed my New Orleans trip wrong this year. I am in town the following weekend of the 10th. Really, that's because I get Monday the 12th off and don't burn as much leave. Since I have been alternating the last few Falls between Vegas, where I try to hit the West Coast Pipe Show, and New Orleans, I will eventually try to make my trip match up with the New Orleans show.

Guys...it's got history, it will have some fine pipes and tobaccos, and if my preview of the website is correct, they have a most excellent full bar for those who might enjoy an adult beverage or two...my kinda place!

If you like coffee with chicory, then while in NOLA you must visit the Cafe Du Monde and savor a cup of their brew accompanied by a beignet or two. Très bien!

Nope, no beignets for me. I've been to nawlins enough times to know that this a tourist trick to get them to eat bland biscuits without any jelly at a gourmet price, ha ha! But, the coffee is good.
