I apologize now but I am going to ramble on a little. Lately, I have been enamored with the idea of a ying and yang, male and female, night and day pipe set like this Savinelli Night and Day set:
I just recently picked up this beauty:
Inspired by the posts on morta pipes, I went ahead and commission Chris Askwithe to make the night version for me. A pipe with clean, manly lines to counterpoint the Radice.
This is what he came up with:
I think he got it exactly right. Now I am going to have my version of a night and day set.
By the way, if you ever looking to commission a pipe made, I cannot recommend Chris Askwithe enough. Not only are his pipes amazing, his communication and timing was impeccable.
