I used a u-shaped chisel and made a little bowl. Then i drilled where I wanted the cork, I also used a dremel to make the hole more even. For the pipe "rack" I used a straight chisel to dig out the wood.Real sharp. Howd ya do it?
Great Job.I used a u-shaped chisel and made a little bowl. Then i drilled where I wanted the cork, I also used a dremel to make the hole more even. For the pipe "rack" I used a straight chisel to dig out the wood.
For the oil I bought lacquer stain for a shiny look. It really wasn't that complicated, I used things that I had at home.
I made a similar one for myself and dump all my ash and dottle in it. With the lid on, no ashy smell. Sits on my kitchen counter all week and then dump it in the trash on garbage day.I made my own ashtray for the balcony and stayed in the Budget. Not as fancy as yours. View attachment 414104
