Ashton question?

Hello everybody. I've been looking at my ashton "pebble grain" pipe, but have come to believe it supposed to be stamped "Old Church". The color of my pipe has darkened a bit but is still much lighter in color then any ashton pebble grain pipe I've seen. My question is, has anybody or does anybody also have a lighter almost unstained ashton pebble grain. When I first got this pipe it was almost gold in color.

Mis-stamps are more common than you'd think, even among marques like Dunhill, Charatan, Savinelli, and Ashton too.
