Some years ago I tried a couple of tins of Ashton Artisans blend which I liked a lot. Now, to me there were many similarities to Nightcap but there was an occasional piney note, like pine resin that cropped up - so here are my questions -

Is that note because of the Syrian Latikia ?
If not ,is there another English or other available tobacco with that taste?
I’m in the UK.

I'm quite the Novice when it comes to Palate and though it's not mentioned on the tin I did notice a Piney note in their Consummate Gentleman a blend that distinguishes itself from any other and on the tin they mention Maryland tobacco , though I also notice this zing in SG Skiff mixture perhaps a more experienced piper can pipe in...
