Ascorti: How Do They Stack Up?

Ive been buying ser jacs, Radice, Ardor, and a Caminetto. As the title asks, how do Ascorti pipes compare? Im drawn to a few of their designs.
Also their price points are pretty reasonable, even for new but Im mostly looking at estates which are really affordable.

I have a gold A cutty that's one of my very best smokers. Bought it from a forum member. It's as nice as any of my high end pipes.

I've seen a few of their higher tier smooths that I liked but probably not enough to pay the asking price.
If they had been a bit shorter or scaled down somewhat I would have considered them more seriously.

I haven't ruled one out in the future..

Im looking at blast and rusticated pipes. I like some of theirs. Im not typically a fan of straight pipes but this one caught my eye and I reserved this estate dublin for after the holidays.

I have nine from the late 1970s to mid-1980s. All of them are great smokers.

My best pipe ever for smoking latakia blends was an Ascorti "Business." It just did something magic with the stuff. Heavy for its size, though. Weird.

I had an Author I gave to a friend because he admired it. Was very well built which is typical for Italian Pipes and was a good smoker.
If the price is right I’d have no issues buying another.

I have 4 I think and they are all well made and are good smokers. If you like their aesthetics they are a good choice. You definitely get your moneys worth in my opinion and you can often find great deals on estates

I have had several. All good pipes. The newer Ascortis, like the new Caminetto, have a substantially higher price point than, say, Radice. For me this makes Radice a better value. However, no matter the maker it is difficult to go wrong with any handmade Italian pipe.

I have a few and they all smoke well. Probably my second favorite brand behind the Savinelli Autograph.
