Artisan Pipes for Peck from Santa

Wow, Santa (and his alter ego, Tim) sure was good to me this year.
I received three fantastic artisan pipes from the man in red. I didn't think last year's gift could be topped, and then this little bundle of goodies arrived.
Now I need to clear some prime space on the display for this little beauties.

That photo doesn't do these pipes justice. The pipe at the bottom of the picture, in particular, has these very sharp ridges that actually cut your hand while you hold it; it's all so incredibly charming and wonderfully old school.

They are very nice. Always wanted a pocket pipe. I like the irregularity of the bottom (sharp) one. If you have a side shot, would love to see it. A volcano of some kind?

Some very interesting pipes. I'd love to see how this "artisan" made that bottom one.
It's a good thing I wasn't your secret santa Peck or I would have sent you a lovely present from an "artisan" named daisy. She loves to eat a lot and likes to leave brown presents in my yard.

I will try to post some pics of the bottom pipe later, once I manage to get the stem in. Tried the rubber mallet but had to drop that idea when the pain set in from bowl cuts to my hand.

Let me assure you that the shaping of that one is truly sui generis and defies common pipe shape classification.

Well, well . . . when it rains it pours . . . a second package just rolled in from the Santa, who apparently is taking a pre-Christmas R&R trip in Las Vegas.
Just blown away by the generosity.
