That's a shame

It is a shame, it sounds great - as do the other two! But none of the three are available here unfortunately. We're a bit of a tobacco desert in the UK - we don't even get the full HH range.

After I have smoked aros in a pipe over and over, they aren't worth much for anything else, except maybe a little latakia occasionally... but even then, it reminds me too much of those gawdawful Froggy blends by McC. It may be obvious that I wasn't a fan of those.

If cobs have a best use, I think that smoking aros is a great idea.

It's the 'godawful' I want to avoid, it's just whether a 'light' topping will make that much difference.

We are a bit short changed on some stuff over here. On the otherhand we do have Gawith and Germain's (if your quick!).

It'd be great to get the full HH line though, I tried the Old Dark Fired recently and it was superb.

Yeah, if it is going to stress you out at all, get a few cobs. You will soon decide what leaves more than a slight, or pleasant ghost.
I happen to enjoy ghosts rolling into the next smoke, but I am not a purist and also I smoke things I like, for the most part my experimental days are over.
