My local B&M set this out for people to try and it smells good...but I just cant do it, every time I see the tin I read ammonia, which just puts me off. Just seems like there could have been a better name.

In my opinion, Armonia is the foulest pipe tobacco ever made. I think Mixture 79 is a four-star classic compared to this vile stuff. It doesn't taste at all like it smells -- think rotten fruit mixed with a little ammonia, and it has a bite like Jaws. The only pipe I ever threw out due to ghosting was a Grabow I smoked two (partial) bowls of this stuff in.
Sorry to be so negative, but it seriously was the worst experience I ever had, tobacco-wise. I was given a couple of free sample pouches years ago when I bought a Savineilli pipe. The briar remains one of my favorites, but that stuff was awful!
