I bought a few tins even though I don't smoke Latakia anywhere near as often as I used to. It is definitely Latakia driven, but I am actually glad I got a few tins as the underlying tobacco backbone is quite pleasant. Most english blends (especially CD blends) don't really tickle my fancy these days, but this one certainly did.

jiminks gave four stars, so I'll keep it in mind, but I have so much on hand, there's not much storage room. I'm trying to figure out what the tin art is. I think it is a plump songbird with a small bill and a black band around its belly that makes it look like a smiley face. Why that is eccentric, I'm not sure. I await reports from those who are trying the blend.

I'm a fan as well, especially for the price. I didn't think much of rouxgaroux myself (especially with it being released twice a year) but lots of other people love it.

This is the only blend in the lineup I'm not interested in because of the aforementioned latakia.

The rustica VaBur and the katerini perique of the other two, I'm very interested in.

I picked up a couple tins mostly because Im a sucker and I like having complete sets.

I think the only limited edition pipe tobacco I bought was a christmas one. And I knew that while I'd enjoy it, it wasn't going to something I'd miss. Also there I am going through the must try list at an intentionally snails pace.

I'm more shocked that the Savinelli 140 is still available, particularly at the offered price point for a 3.5oz tin.
