To answer the question of the original post, I would have to say, "No." I have yet to find any Internet news source with the editorial integrity or fact-checking prowess of 20th century print. To learn anything meaningful, I have to sift through a number of sources (across multiple nationalities), attempt to ignore political agendas and biases, and keep a survey of common denominators in my head, and do a great deal of fact-checking on my own.
I agree with this, but I also believe one prefers news from sources that agree with or confirm his/her views.
The title of this thread should have just been....which side of the aisle are you on, as where one gets their news both reveals and steers their views.
