Spoken like someone that hasn't seen Spy x Family.I took the OP to mean anime series. I haven't watched many ghibli films, but I suspect they are their own subgenre. In any event, I have a love/meh relationship with anime. Some of it is great. Vampire Hunter D, Blood+, and several others I watched when I was younger. Others just seem meh. As I have gotten older, there are less and less storylines that pair well with married, middle aged, white, male american life. lol.
I just watched that about a year ago, and in my late 50s, I was not emotionally ready for that film.Grave of the Fireflies was phenomenal, but I will never watch it a second time.
