So I bought a package of Half &Half and enjoyed it very much. I bought the big can and opened it today. To me it was even better. My question is are all the OTC's better out of the can

I broke the can down into jars but this is better than the pouch was I know I am in the minority with the OTC's and maybe I just don't have a good palette but I enjoy the cheaper brands

Not a thing wrong with that. When I found out Middleton's Apple got discontinued, I went to every cigarette store in a fifty mile radius and bought them out.

As some knowledgeable members have pointed out, the pouch and tub tobacco of any one blend come out of the same bin. It would not be cost effective to blend superior and inferior versions. Over shelf life, the tubs/cans keep a blend more fresh, but usually either packaging will provide as good a version. For sampling a blend I don't know, I go with the smaller amount. If I know a blend and like it, a tub is usually a better deal.

I definitely try the pouch first

Possible related question... when you pop open a tub, do you need to transfer the tobacco to jars or will it keep in a tub for a significant amount of time?
